Our Story

Blake and Sara Built This

Blake is a native Oklahoman whose family came to OK during the 1889 Land Run. He grew up on a cattle farm east of Oklahoma City, left to attend the US Naval Academy, and graduated as a US Marine. Sara grew up on a small-town newspaper in North Carolina and spent her career in Washington, DC working in federal policy. We moved to Oklahoma in 2020. Hosting helped our kids, now it helps us welcome the world with joy.
